Members & roles
- 01
Org roles: admin and member
On organization level there are two roles:
- Admin: full access to channels, members, branding, billing and API tokens.
- Member: can join channels and broadcast. No access to member management, branding or billing.
- 02
Invite a member
Under
Organization → TeamclickInvite, enter email and role, and send the invite. The invitee receives a join link. If they don't have an OpenBooth account yet, it's created in the same step. Open invites can be resent or revoked. - 03
Change role or remove member
In the member list switch a member's role between admin and member. Use the context menu to remove someone from the organization. Existing sessions are ended immediately.
- 04
Channel roles: host and speaker
Per channel there are two additional roles for studio contributors:
- Host: leads the broadcast. Controls speaker microphones, moderates Q&A and announcements, ends the session.
- Speaker: talks in the studio. No access to studio controls.
Assign members to one of these roles in channel settings under
Contributors. An org admin isn't automatically a host. External speakers come in via the guest-speaker flow as speakers.Tip
A person can have different roles in different channels. - 05
Guest Speaker
Guest speakers are external people without an org account. They enter exactly one channel as a speaker. No access to the channel list, billing, team, or other channels. Dedicated waiting-room UI at
/guest/[channel].Note
Guests are bound to a single channel. Sees no org navigation or other sessions. - 06
