Visibility & PIN protection

Default. Anyone with the URL can listen, no login needed. The channel appears in your organization's public channel list. Suitable for open broadcasts, talks and community radio.

Set a channel to private and assign a 6-digit PIN. Listeners must enter the PIN before they can listen. Suitable for internal broadcasts with a small audience.

Visibility and PIN can be changed afterwards. Switch to private and existing listeners need to enter the PIN after a reload. Switch to public and the channel is open immediately.

Listeners stay listeners. If someone should speak on air, invite them via the guest-speaker flow which generates a separate token link. See Invite guest speakers.
