Going live & broadcast lifecycle

  1. 01

    Schedule or go ad-hoc

You can schedule a broadcast in advance or just start spontaneously. A scheduled broadcast appears to listeners as an announced slot in the channel waiting area.

    • Spontaneous: open the studio, click Start stream. Broadcast starts immediately.
    • Scheduled: in the stream launcher set title and start time. Optionally repeat on fixed weekdays.
    • At the scheduled time you open the studio and start the planned broadcast with one click. Title and channel are already set.
  2. 02

    Before going live

    • Check microphone level, adjust echo cancellation and noise suppression as needed.
    • Cover and description of the channel up to date: listeners see them when opening the public page.
    • Co-hosts and speakers who should join are assigned as contributors to the channel or invited via guest-speaker link.
  3. 03

    Go live

Click Start stream in the studio. The broadcast initializes. Listeners on the public page hear you in real time from that moment. The channel header shows a pulsing LIVE indicator and a broadcast timer.

  4. 04

    During the broadcast

You control mute and volume of every participant in the mixer. Guest speakers who join via link can be brought on air or off air at any time. Approve Q&A questions, send announcements, see reactions — all of it works while the broadcast runs.

  5. 05

    End the broadcast

Click End and confirm. Listeners are unplugged and see the channel waiting area again. In the stats overview you'll then find peak listeners, broadcast time, Q&A activity and reaction counts.
