Right of withdrawal.

Last updated: 16 May 2026

Notice and model form for consumers under § 312g BGB.

Fastest path

Withdrawals and cancellations happen via the Billing area of your organization.

The subscription runs per organization. In the logged-in area you'll find the Billing entry in the org sidebar. There you can end your subscription on your own and trigger a refund. The withdrawal is processed automatically and the amount is refunded via the original payment method. Postal mail and email are statutory alternatives, self-service is significantly faster.

§01

Withdrawal notice

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract was concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from this contract. To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

§02

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

Self-service in the app: log in to your OpenBooth account, pick the organization whose subscription you want to withdraw and open the Billing entry in the sidebar. There you end the subscription on your own and trigger the refund. The withdrawal takes effect immediately and is processed automatically.

Statutory alternatives: you can also declare the withdrawal by email to [email protected] or by postal mail to the address below. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this page; this is not required.

Saizew Kapital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Grenzstraße 45, 26382 Wilhelmshaven, Germany.

§03

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notice of your withdrawal. For this reimbursement we use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

§04

Start, renewal and plan switch

The 14-day right of withdrawal begins when you first take out a paid subscription and applies regardless of the chosen billing interval (monthly or yearly). An automatic renewal does not start a new withdrawal period, contractually it counts as a continuation of the existing subscription. If, on the other hand, you actively switch the billing interval (monthly ↔ yearly) or the plan within the running withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal lapses: we treat an active change as a deliberate amendment to the contract and therefore as a waiver of the right of withdrawal for the original subscription.

§05

Contractual right of withdrawal for businesses too

Statutorily the 14-day right of withdrawal exists only for consumers (§ 13 BGB). OpenBooth grants it contractually and voluntarily to businesses (§ 14 BGB) as well, on the same terms. When you first take out a paid subscription the right of withdrawal therefore applies equally to all customers.

§06

Model withdrawal form

Hint: it's faster via the Billing entry in the org sidebar, the withdrawal is processed there immediately. If you choose the postal or email path, you can fill in this form and send it to the address above.
